Introducing Ron Givens:

Ronald Givens is license Number ONE with the State of Texas Inspectors, TREC License #1. 
Mr. Givens holds the highest level of Texas Inspector's License, as a "Professional Inspector".

Ron Givens was a pioneer in the inspection profession. Ronald Givens was instrumental in getting legislation passed which required licensing of inspectors in Texas.  Texas was the first state in the USA to license inspectors.

Since 1978 he has conducted and produced thousands of reports personally.  Mr. Givens performs all of the inspections himself, which insures his client is protected.  Mr. Givens report process does not allow an observed deficiency to go unmentioned and the report may be extensive.

Throughout his career as a Real Estate Inspector, Ronald Givens has played many important roles with the Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors (TAREI). In 1981 he was 2nd Vice President, Chairman of Education Committee. In 1982 he was 2nd Vice President, Chairman of Membership Committee. Then in 1983 he was 1st Vice President, Chairman of By-Laws and Standards of Practice. In 1984 and 1985 he was named Chairman of the Board and President of the Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors. In 1986 and 1987 he moved on to become the Member Board of Directors At Large ex-officer. Currenty he is a Honorary Member Board of Directors. Ronald Givens holds the highest level of member category in TAREI, as a "Certified Professional Inspector" (C.P.I.).

In 1996 Ronald became a Charter Member Board of Directors for the Southern Council of Professional Building Inspectors, Inc. and has been on the Board ever since. From 2004 to present he has held the role of President and Chairman of the Board for the Southern Council of Professional Building Inspectors, Inc.
